How this website handles information.
This notice explains the current website preview, what the inquiry forms are designed to collect once connected, and how interactive demos handle sample information.
The website forms are not connected to a submission endpoint. If you test a form now, the page states clearly that the information was not sent. Formsmith's website code does not write unfinished form entries to localStorage.
Information you provide
If form handling is enabled later, Formsmith may receive information you choose to submit through the general inquiry or quote request form. This can include:
- Your name, business name, email address, phone number, and website
- Information about your business type and team size
- Details about current tools, workflows, frustrations, and project goals
- Capabilities you may need, desired timing, an optional budget range, and other notes
Please avoid sending passwords, payment-card information, sensitive personal data, or confidential business records through these forms.
How information may be used
Information submitted through the site may be used to respond to your inquiry, understand a potential project, prepare or discuss a quote, ask follow-up questions, and maintain a record of the business conversation. This notice does not authorize unrelated marketing uses.
Interactive demos and browser storage
Formsmith demos use fictional sample information. Some demos may save changes to localStorage in your browser so the sample state can persist between visits. Do not enter real customer, employee, financial, confidential, or sensitive information into a demo. Clearing the demo data or your browser's site data removes those local sample changes.
Form and service providers
This static website may later connect to Google Apps Script, Formspree, EmailJS, or another form service. Before submissions are enabled, this notice will identify the selected provider and explain where submissions are processed. No secret key belongs in the public website code.
GitHub Pages hosts the public website. Some existing demos also load Google Analytics, chart libraries, or fonts from third-party providers. Those providers may receive basic technical information needed to serve or measure those resources under their own policies.
Retention, access, and choices
Retention practices will be documented when a form service and business recordkeeping process are selected. Once submissions are enabled, you may contact Formsmith to ask about information you submitted or request a correction or deletion, subject to legitimate recordkeeping obligations.
Security
Reasonable care should be used when configuring the final form provider, but no website transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Do not submit sensitive credentials or regulated data through the public forms.
Privacy questions
An active privacy contact email will be added before submissions are enabled. The contact page clearly identifies which channels are still awaiting configuration.
